Festival Postponement

You’ll not be surprised to know that given the current Coronavirus situation we have taken the only prudent course of action and decided to postpone this June’s Hallam Festival of Education.  It’s not clear what will happen with the virus in the coming months so we will explore possible new dates for holding the Festival when we are in a position to make a fully informed and sensible decision. Colleagues who have already purchased tickets will of course be receiving a full refund .

On behalf of our Festival team I’d like to extend our best wishes to all colleagues working in education at this very difficult time.

Sean Cavan
Festival Director

Sheffield Institute of Education is delighted to announce 20:20 Vision for Education – celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Forster Education Act and looking forward to the future of education.

This coming June there’ll be a fantastic line-up of contributors, sessions, activities and entertainment to celebrate this important national milestone. You can check out our 2019 HallamEdfest video to get a feel for the creativity and energy generated at last year’s great Festival.

We’ll be launching ticketing in mid-January with real value-for -money prices which we’ve been able to keep low through the generous support of our sponsors and will be updating you through social media – #HallamEdFest – and the web site all the way through to June 12th!.
